Vintage 14k Yellow Gold ring, circa 1965, featuring an Oval Blue SAPPHIRE = ONE CARAT! The Sapphire is mounted in a 4 prong Tiffany style setting. This ring can be worn as a 'Sapphire Engagement Ring'. This Sapphire ring has a VERY unique 14k Gold Band that actually opens to slip over the knuckle. This Custom made band is called an 'arthritic band' and is quite costly - and perfect for someone with larger knuckles.
