STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE (1993-1999)/STAR TREK: VOYAGER (1995-2001) - Michael and Denise Okuda Collection: Bonaventure C1-21 Model Miniature - A Bonaventure C1-21 model miniature from the television series productions of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. A model of the Bonaventure, Zefram Cochrane's mythic first warp-powered spacecraft, was visible throughout DS9, as well as in "Juggernaut," a Season 5 episode of Voyager.

This lot comes from the collection of celebrated Star Trek franchise artists and advisors Michael and Denise Okuda. Created by franchise model maker Greg Jein for display purposes, this ornately detailed model miniature with a distinctive domed center is cast from resin around a metal display rod and painted blue throughout. The resin exhibits flaking paint in multiple places, exposing and in some cases cracking the resin underneath, while the rod exhibits tarnishing from exposure. Dimensions: 20.5" x 10.5" x 6.5" (52.25 cm x 26.75 cm x 16.5 cm)Though their long and celebrated careers in the Star Trek world began in features, Michael and Denise Okuda established themselves as franchise legends while working on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Michael became art supervisor on TNG, while Denise came on as a scenic artist during Deep Space Nine, roles they would continue to perform through Voyager, Enterprise, and the Next Generation films. Married in 1993, the Okudas are known as the driving forces behind the development of many of the now-iconic 24th-century technologies seen throughout the series, including the famous "Okudagrams" they created for the LCARS (Library Computer Access and Retrieval System) interfaces . Propstore is proud to present a selection of key memorabilia from the personal collection of one of the franchise's most important creative teams to the public for the first time.
