STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT (1996) - Michael and Denise Okuda Collection: Script Binder with Shooting Schedules and Paperwork - A script binder, shooting schedules, and paperwork from Jonathan Frakes' Star Trek: First Contact. Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and his crew flew the USS Enterprise to stop the Borg from preventing Zefram Cochrane (James Cromwell) entering warp speed to make first contact with an alien species.

This lot comes from the collection of celebrated Star Trek franchise artists and advisors Michael and Denise Okuda. It consists of a black vinyl binder filled with 36-page shooting schedule dated April 29, 1996 on blue paper titled "Star Trek Generations II," a third draft script titled "Star Trek: Borg" dated March 12, 1996 marked "Mike O." with 163 pages printed on various colors, 37 pages of video graphic request forms with handwritten annotations in blue ink, and 14 pages of a oneline shooting schedule printed on yellow paper titled "Star Trek Generations II." "Star Trek Generations II" and "Star Trek: Borg" were working titles used during production. This lot exhibits minor wrinkled pages. Dimensions: 11" x 11" x 3" (28 cm x 28 cm x 7.75 cm)Though their long and celebrated careers in the Star Trek world began in features, Michael and Denise Okuda established themselves as franchise legends while working on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Michael became art supervisor on TNG, while Denise came on as a scenic artist during Deep Space Nine, roles they would continue to perform through Voyager, Enterprise, and the Next Generation films. Married in 1993, the Okudas are known as the driving forces behind the development of many of the now-iconic 24th-century technologies seen throughout the series, including the famous "Okudagrams" they created for the LCARS (Library Computer Access and Retrieval System) interfaces .
