STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT (1996) - Michael and Denise Okuda Collection: Set of Turbolift Signage - Turbolift signage from Jonathan Frakes' Star Trek: First Contact. Following the destruction of the Enterprise D in the previous film, the crew was transferred to the Enterprise E, a Sovereign-class starship with an updated Turbolift. Doorways on the lift and throughout the starship generally featured two doors that parted upon opening, dividing the signage between delta and label.

This lot comes from the collection of celebrated Star Trek franchise artists and advisors Michael and Denise Okuda. It consists of 13 plastic signs with a gold-color metallic finish and brown lettering, including four small Starfleet delta signs (left doors) and nine labeled signs (right doors) with text including "0940 Holosystems Access," "Turbolift 1," "02 Turbolift 2," "09 Turbolift 2," "09 Turbolift 3," "0212 Starboard Egress," "0936 GNDN Driver Systems," "1625 MIE Auxiliary Access," and "1623 EPS Power Systems." They exhibit scratching to the finish and adhesive residue on the back. Dimensions: (largest) 11.5" x 3" x 0.25" (29.25 cm x 7.75 cm x 0.75 cm)Though their long and celebrated careers in the Star Trek world began in features, Michael and Denise Okuda established themselves as franchise legends while working on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Michael became art supervisor on TNG, while Denise came on as a scenic artist during Deep Space Nine, roles they would continue to perform through Voyager, Enterprise, and the Next Generation films. Married in 1993, the Okudas are known as the driving forces behind the development of many of the now-iconic 24th-century technologies seen throughout the series, including the famous "Okudagrams" they created for the LCARS (Library Computer Access and Retrieval System) interfaces . Propstore is proud to present a selection of key memorabilia from the personal collection of one of the franchise's most important creative teams to the public for the first time.
