GHOSTBUSTERS (2016) - Dr. Abby Yates' (as played by Melissa McCarthy) V-3 Light-Up Proton Pack and Wand - Dr. Abby Yates' (as played by Melissa McCarthy) V-3 light-up proton pack and wand from Paul Feig's Ghostbusters. The Ghostbusters team wielded updated proton wands connected to proton packs as they apprehended entities in New York.

This lot consists of a silver-color metal proton wand with a gray resin casing and metal handles; and a metal, plastic, and rubber proton pack with various metal cables, wires, mesh, and an orange and gray nylon harness marked "3" with fastening strips and plastic buckles. The wand features a wire connector to the pack and a production-applied high-voltage and radiation "Warning" label. Battery-operated switches on the pack cause the coiled cables and control boxes to illuminate, while the illuminated tip of the wand is activated with the press of a button and powered by a 9V battery. Production intentionally distressed the pack and wand. The proton packs are believed to have been used by different actors at different times, though this pack shows evidence of the decal detailing for specifically Yates. The proton pack has a triangular area of adhesive residue present where the triangular caution decal unique to Yates' pack was previously applied. This lot exhibits notable discoloration on the finish from abrasion, chipped paint, and a missing switch on the wand. Dimensions: 30" x 24" x 11.5" (76.25 cm x 61 cm x 29.25 cm)

Estimate: $6,000 - 12,000
