<B>Group of 13 Historic Autogiro Photos Featuring Captain John M. Miller,</B></I> all 8” x 10”, taken at the Omaha Air Races, 1931. Miller was making the first autogiro transcontinental flight when these photos were made. His record, made with a Pitcairn PCA-2, stood until beaten in 2003! An excellent array of images ranging from cockpit close-ups to long range views of Miller's autogiro in flight. Lot includes a print showing two airborne autogiros. Fine condition. Johnny Miller, born in 1905, recently took his first glider flight at age 100.
