PROMETHEUS (2012) - Engineer Ampule and Two Prototype Vials - An Engineer ampule and two prototype vials from Ridley Scott's sci-fi sequel Prometheus. While they explored the moon LV-223, David (Michael Fassbender) and the Prometheus crew discovered the ampules, which contained biological warfare vials stored there by the alien species known as the Engineers.

Raku pottery specialist Rob Sollis crafted the pivotal resin-based ampules, inspired by delicate Roman glass. Alien text is etched vertically into the curving body, which has its own bespoke, ethereal metallic paint effect.

The two prototype vials were created as part of the process of developing the final onscreen aesthetic. They are made from transparent glass and feature detailed engravings to appear extra-terrestrial. Each ampule exhibits intentional distressing. Dimensions (ampule): 17.50" x 6.50" x 6.50" (44.25 cm x 16.50 cm x 16.50)

Estimate: $2,000 - 4,000
