PROMETHEUS (2012) - Set of Three Steatite Ampules - Three steatite ampules from Ridley Scott's Prometheus. Extraterrestrial engineers stored terraforming biochemicals in ampules which the Prometheus crew found in cavernous chambers.

Taking inspiration from delicate Roman glass, Raku pottery specialist Rob Sollis crafted three different sizes of urns for the chamber sequence, with each size represented in this set. Each hollow container consists of a lid and base constructed from resin. Given a stone-like texture, they were painted metallic colors and etched vertically with alien text along the surface. One of the ampules was hand-marked with an "A" and "Q" on the interior halves. These ampules exhibit streaking and scratching throughout with chipping to the paint finish, as well as pitting and discoloration on the inside. Dimensions: (largest) 12" x 12" x 30" (30.5 cm x 30.5 cm x 76.25 cm)

Estimate: $3,000 - 6,000
