DISCLAIMER: All Jewel Names used in this listing, including, but not limited to Ruby, Emerald, Topaz, Amber, Amberina, Amethyst, and the like, DO NOT refer to the precious or semi-precious stone or jewel, BUT RATHER ARE A DESCRIPTION OF THE COLOR OF THE GLASS. ****** TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THIS EXCELLENT CONDITION RARE 12-INCH, RICH-EMERALD-GREEN-COLOR BLENKO LIQUOR-STYLE HAND-MADE, MOUTH-BLOWN CRACKLE GLASS BOTTLE DECANTER WITH MOUTH-BLOWN HOLLOW FLAME STOPPER. Blenko began to crackle glass from around the 1940?s, and I believe this to be an Early Rendition of that Early Blenko Crackle. The Techniques used in this Blenko Bottle appears to me to be Early in Style, with the Mouth-Blown Glass being Quite Uneven in Thickness, and the Crackle being very Uneven in Pattern and Size. The Technique for the Flame Stopper also looks Early, as there are Uneven Seed Bubbles in the Solid part of the Glass. The Bottle body was mouth-blown into molds. The Round Bottom of the Bottle appears to have been created in a Separate Mold. After Heated Assembly of the Molded Parts, this Bottle was then Purged to a Crackle up about 3.25 inches from the bottom of the 7.25-inch high Bottle. From That Level to the Top of the Bottle the Glass is Not Crackled. The Flame Stopper was also Mouth-Blown into Several Molds, and Heat-assembled by Hand. The Stopper is Not Crackled, and is Hollow. Originally, the Stem of the Glass Flame Stopper would have been covered with Cork for a tight seal against the neck of the ...
