This is an elegant set of 12 corn holders, each marked "Resthaven" on one side of the stand, and "F. P. Pfleghar & Son, New Haven, Conn., Pat. Sept. 8-96" on the other side. They are silver plate. This style of corn holder--on the perch-- was used by early railroads. My guess is that Resthaven was an elite resport or spa at the turn of the Century. If you are interested in silver flatware, please see the other lovely pieces I have for sale (fixed price) on my GoAntiques site!
