FACE/OFF (1997) - Pair of Castor Troy's (Nicolas Cage) Stunt Custom Springfield Armory M1911-A1 Pistols - Castor Troy's (Nicolas Cage) stunt custom Springfield Armory M1911-A1 pistols from John Woo's Face/Off. Troy wielded his signature gold-plated pistols throughout the film, including when he shot a hole through Sean Archer's (John Travolta) helicopter windshield and in the airport shootout with the FBI. Later, Archer-as-Troy (Cage) received another identical pair from Dietrich Hassler (Nick Cassavetes).

Considered among the greatest action films ever made, Face/Off furthered director Woo's ascent in Hollywood's top ranks, earning $245 million at the box office and an Academy Award& reg; nomination for Sound Effects Editing. In a career of wild performances, it also featured one of Cage's best, with Troy's over-the-top weaponry now considered inextricable from his dual roles.

These dense rubber stunt .45-caliber pistols are molded and hand-painted to resemble gold titanium-plated Springfield Armory M1911-A1 V12 pistols with the Springfield Armory logo, serial number "N355076," and the model number engraved on both barrels. The grips are painted black, textured on front, and engraved with dragon symbols on either side. Both pistols have accumulated minor grime since production, and their rubber exhibits minor scuffs. Dimensions: (each) 8.5" x 5.5" x 1.5" (21.75 cm x 14 cm x 4 cm)

Ownership may be restricted in some countries; see replica firearm notice in Buyer's Guide.
