Rare cloth advertising sign, dates from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Its in a wooden frame not period and would ship rolled in a shipping tube, minus flimsy wooden frame its now in.

Makers name at bottom right, reads: THE ACME SIGN PRINTING CO., DAYTON, OHIO
Bottom left a number 2979.

Overall excellent condition save for a couple minor tears, see photos.

Nice original color, maybe they used their product in these signs?

Overall it measures 36 x 24.5 inches.

Far left shows image of a pretty fashionable Victorian dressed brunette, with large hat, pretty blouse, skirt with corset, holding a umbrella, one side faded, the other preserved with product, wording reads on each side:
Left side: RESULT WITHOUT USING CETACOLOR - Right side: RESULT WITH USING CETACOLOR

Main advertising to right reads: NOT A SOAP CETACOLOR - PREVENTS WASH GOODS FROM FADING / 10c PACKAGE.

This is a very colorful, bright Victorian era advertising sign, and would be most suited in a Fabric, Sewing, or clothing related collection.

A Rare advertising sign.
