<B>Eleven English Suffrage-Related Autographed Postcards.</B></I> It was common practice for leading English suffragists to autograph postcard reproductions of their portraits. Never in an American auction, however, have so many of these appeared together. Among the notables included are Nina Boyle, Charlotte Marsh (including one card with printed initials), Lady Frances Balfour, Charlotte Despard, Mary Gawthorpe (two varieties), Cecily Hamilton, Alison Neilans, and Madame Aino Malmberg. The eleventh card contains the signature of Edmund Gwenn, who appeared in the play "Votes for Women." Truly a great lot for the collector of autographs.
