CDV of Henry C. Cleveland, Quartermaster for the 108th U.S. Colored Troops. Verso signed in ink, ''Yours Truly H.C. Cleveland.'' Cleveland was commissioned into Field & Staff of the 108th U.S.C.T. on 12 August 1865. The regiment performed garrison and guard duty at various points in Kentucky throughout most of its service. It also saw action at Owensboro, Kentucky on 22 October 1864. Corners clipped, else excellent condition.
