EDGE OF TOMORROW (2014) - Rita Vrataski's (Emily Blunt) Sword - Rita Vrataski's (Emily Blunt) sword from Doug Liman's Edge of Tomorrow. Vrataski, the "Angel of Verdun," carried her signature blade onto the battlefield during Cage's (Tom Cruise) first day of combat, making her the literal poster girl of the war.

Unusually, Vrataski and her reclaimed weapon appeared in multiple international posters and production stills alongside Cage in a rare, two-handed promotional campaign from Warner Bros. The result was one of the most acclaimed and successful films of 2014, with a $370.5 million theatrical gross and a variety of awards for Blunt, including a Critics Choice Award& reg; for Best Actress in an Action Movie.

This urethane blade is molded in the shape of a helicopter tail rotor's blade and painted black with a red stripe across the top, foil fixed along its narrow edge to resemble sharpened metal, and serial number "2321.S514476-35/UN" stenciled down one side. Its hilt is wrapped in black electrical tape with a faux steel guard and pommel on either end. A distressed UDF sticker near the hilt includes information on the fictional vehicle the blade originated from.

The blade exhibits intentional distressing by production to appear well-used in battle with grime and dust applied throughout, chips in the foil made to simulate nicking, and scuffing on the electrical tape. Dimensions: 48" x 6.25" x 2.5" (122 cm x 16 cm x 6 cm)

Estimate: $25,000 - 50,000
