Unique grouping of items related to the Disney classic 101 Dalmatians, highlighted by a green loose-leaf binder from the estate of animation legend Ken Anderson. The binder is annotated in black felt tip, "Searle's Sketches of London," signed on the inside front cover by Anderson, and contains sixty-two glossy photos, 8 x 10 and 10 x 8, each featuring drawings of London settings and citizens by artist Ronald Searle, stamped on the reverse, "Source: Ronald Searle's—Looking at London, 101 Dalmatians" and "Important! Please return to Walt Disney Studio Library." Also included is a hardcover first edition of The Hundred and One Dalmatians, with original dust jacket; and an original production cel of Pongo and Perdita from 101 Dalmatians, depicting the two dogs in a state of alertness, with image measuring 9.25 x 6.75, with a mat opening of 11.25 x 11.5. In overall fine condition. One of Disney's 'nine old men,' Anderson worked at Disney for forty-four years and made key contributions to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, and The Jungle Book. Anderson was responsible for the art direction and production design for film adaptation of 101 Dalmatians, which was released in 1961.
