This stunning 1.35 carat oval cut diamond features 69 facets, it is a very rare early European cut which is similar to a modified brilliant, which offers its wearer the brilliance and fire of a round cut gemstone, in a more unique shape. The gold band is stamped on the inside 14k and measures a US size 9. Similar loose European cut oval diamonds dating to the early 1900's such as this have sold for between $6,000 to over $10,000.
