c1850-1870s-Four different western bottles. 1) A 7.5" tall aqua-green soda bottle with an applied top, embossed "Napa/ Soda/ Phil Caduc" and "Natural Mineral Water". This bottle likely dates to the 1870s, and has some bubbles throughout the glass body, and a tiny ding in the lip. Very clean. 2) A 7" tall aqua-blue applied top soda bottle embossed "San Francisco/ Glass Works". The glass body bears several bubbles, and there is one small chip in the lip. Shows minor case wear, which would polish out very nicely. Very clean. 3) An 11" tall clear flint glass whiskey bottle with a tooled top--which is uncommon for this particular bottle as most were made with applied tops. The round slug is embossed "Louis Taussig & Co./ Wholesalers/ Liquor Dealers/ San Francisco./ Cal." The body bears some small bubbles, and the interior surfaces are stained and lightly scratched in the mouth. A brief polishing would made this bottle sparkle like new. 4) An 11" tall, clear whiskey bottle with a tooled top. Embossed with "C&C Co" logo above "Bottled For/ Clinch & Co./ Dealers In/ Wines & Liquor/ Grass Valley/ Cal." Several small chips in the lip, and some orange and white staining throughout the bottle. Several bubbles in the glass. All four of these bottles are in very good condition, without serious problems, but not in "attic mint" condition. HKA#64444
