-This pocket watch features an absolutely gorgeous 14k gold case with rose, green, yellow, and blue accents on the front and back floral designs. The front signet plate of the case is engraved with the initials EB and the entire case is finely engraved with a curled tendril pattern. Stem wind, lever set. The white double-sunk dial is flawless and is unmarked. The hour chapter is marked in black roman numerals, and the seconds chapter is marked in Arabic numerals in 10 second intervals. The hour and minute hands are blued spades, and the second hand is straight and blued. The rear case is marked "14k/ 42673" and the cuvet is marked with a gold marking that does not match known records and "14/ 42673/ 66". The mechanism bears no manufacturer markings either, but notes the likely model name, "Monitor" and the hand engraved serial number 56744. 3/4 plate. This lot also includes a gorgeous coiled gold chain, 25" long, with a 13mm x 9.5mm diamond shaped slider with a 6mm round opal setting. The chain and slider are unmarked, and weigh 0.25 troy ounces. The watch weighs 2.41 troy ounces. Without the company name, it is difficult to fully identify and date this watch. A comparison of the serial number to the major known watch companies reveals no matches, making this piece quite a pretty little enigma. HKA#64354
