Original half-mask respirator with breathing tubes worn by a mud trooper in the Ron Howard directed science fiction film 'Solo: A Star Wars Story' (2018), where, during an adventure into the criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his future co-pilot Chewbacca and encounters Lando Calrissian years before joining the Rebellion.
Alden Ehrenreich stars as Han Solo alongside Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo, and Paul Bettany.
Formally known as Imperial swamp troopers, mudtroopers are part of the Imperial Army, whose infantry is gradually being phased out in favor of stormtroopers. Mudtroopers wear partial armor, augmented with respiratory gear and sealed bodysuits for combat in unhealthy environments such as Mimban. Han Solo served as a corporal with the 224th Imperial Armored Division, a new incarnation of the Mud Jumpers of the Clone Wars.
