Original miniature Rocketeer helmet made for the production of the Walt Disney Pictures wonderful superhero film 'The Rocketeer' (1991), the period superhero movie where, a young pilot stumbles onto a prototype jetpack that allows him to become a high flying masked hero.
Beautifully custom made by ILM for use during filming of the SFX miniature shots.
Directed by Joe Johnston, that stars Bill Campbell, Jennifer Connelly, Alan Arkin, Timothy Dalton, Paul Sorvino, and Tiny Ron Taylor. The film is based upon the character of the same name created by comic book artist and writer Dave Stevens.
