Colt SSP, .45 ACP caliber, double-action, stainless steel semi-automatic pistol made for US trials in 1980 where Colt competed with Beretta for US contract. This completely working pistol is serial “GX9758” and remains in fine to near excellent condition, just some minor scratches and shows original Colt medallion impressed checkered wood grips. Slight firing and use, probably in actual trials, with correct stainless steel magazine. One of a few known in private hands and very rare. Est: $6,000 - $12,000
