Colt SAA revolver, .41 Cal., 4-3/4” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, checkered Colt hard rubber black grips, #167121. This gun is in overall excellent condition showing approx. 70% original blue and approx. 80% original case color, all matching visible serial numbers, fine bore, crisp action, sharp markings, wear is primarily on high points, muzzle from holster wear and grip straps. The grips are very good and fit this revolver impeccably; consignor indicates shipment to Hibbard, Spencer and Bartlett in Chicago in 1896. Colt factory letter for SAA revolver #167121 confirms .41 cal., 4-3/4” barrel, blue finish, rubber stocks, shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co., Chicago, Illinois on September 14, 1896, with 3 guns in shipment.
