Two 5 liter German beer steins one with a stein inside a triangle (Gerz), the second with similar moldings but only Made in Germany stamped on the underside. The Gerz stein has characters walking down an outdoor stairway with a large dog, the motto "Schon ist die Lieb" (Even the love) is below. It is nicely glazed with certain areas glazed without a clear coat to create a deeper highlight. Directly below the upper part of the handle is what could be the mold mark 164. The second is a wonderfully glazed beer drinking scene, there is a very clear mold mark under the handle, 3666. Both are in very good condition and are 23.75"H.
