A heavy Austrian Model 1869 cavalry saber. Steel hilt with wire wrapped fish skin handle. Wide blade with a large fuller on one side and flat on the other. Blade marked-SOLINGEN-EISENHAUER on one side and STF. IBERNY-WIEN on the other. Late19th century. Good condition, minor wear overall, minor pitting on blade, few dents on scabbard. Measures 40”.
