Moore 7 shot, .32 rim-fire caliber revolver with engraved brass frame patented in 1860 and popular with officers as a private purchase weapon during the Civil War, serial number 4739. The barrel and cylinder show light to moderate scattered pitting and erosion and the ejector rod has been removed. The breech end of the barrel has been fitted with a small handmade V notch rear sight and a small brass front sight that has been handmade to match also. The frame shows a deep patina. The grips are good with wear at the edges. The action is working. The revolver shows wear and carry and the sights are interesting. Gale Kennedy Historical West Collection. Est.: $400-$800.
