1) Morh & Sperry (Berlin) sword, 33" straight blade with etched scroll, oak leaf, armament and "IN/ TREUE/ FEST" on the sides. Gold washed hilt, with lions on the languet, upturned clamshell quillion, oak leaf and Greek key designs, a lion head pommel and pearl grips with a crown and checkerboard design on the right panel. With a gold colored portapee, solid acorn with crown design, and brass and leather sheath. 2) Alcoso (Solingen) sword, 32 1/2" double fuller blade, gold washed hilt with cut-through Imperial Eagle design on the folding guard, leather finger loop, helmet pommel and wire wrapped celluloid grip with brass monogram panel. With a black enamel finished steel sheath and a wire and leather portapee with brass colored solid acorn.

Condition: 1) Fine, with light spotting on the blade, aged patina on the hilt and sheath fittings, fraying of the portapee and scuffs and cracking of the leather. 2) Very good, with some light wear on the blade, flaking of the gold, 85% of the original enamel on the sheath and some light fraying and discoloration of the wire on the portapee.
