The Russell Sale is the premiere fundraising event for the C.M. Russell Museum in Great Falls, Montana. Session 1 will begin at 10am MDT with pieces from the First Strike Auction (Lots 1-76). Session 2 which includes the historical works will begin at 1pm MDT (Lots 77-211). The yearly auction featuring important pieces by Charles M. Russell and other historic artists as well as new work by the country’s most acclaimed contemporary western artists. Now recognized as one of the most prestigious western art events in the country, The Russell provides critical funding through commissions and premiums that directly support the museum’s educational programs and cultural outreach.
