Scottsdale Art Auction 2016

Auction Details

Having posted our second best ever total—$13.7 million dollars—in our 2015 auction, held this past April 11, we at the Scottsdale Art Auction are preparing for our next sale, the 12th annual auction, to be held in our state-of-the-art facility on April 2, 2016. We are already accepting consignments and our knowledgeable staff is happy to discuss any works of Western Art that you may wish to place in our auction. Scottsdale Art Auction prides itself on the care we take with your art throughout the auction process: shipping, storing, photographing, cataloguing, promotion, and display. Some 500 buyers attend the auction each year; many more participate by phone, absentee bid, and on the Internet.

Scottsdale Art Auction holds over 150 records in the field of historic and contemporary Western Art. In 2015, we featured works by masters from Frederic Remington to Howard Terpning, from Charles M. Russell to Martin Grelle, from N. C. Wyeth to Kyle Polzin and set a new world record for a painting by G. Harvey, making history with his magnificent 36 x 48 inch canvas History in the Making ($409,500-).
