SEGA Gelbvieh is a 4th generation diversified farming and cow/calf operation located on the northeast plains of Colorado. Our Gelbvieh and Balancer mother cows are summered on dry native hard grass pastures, and wintered and calved out on cornstalks and afterfeed. Our first registered cattle were bought in 1989 and the herd has grown from there. The cattle have to be efficient to survive in the harsh enviroment we run in.
