Nostalgia Bandit

Nostalgia Bandit is a boutique auction house specializing in authenticated, one-of-one artifacts from music, film, television, and pop culture.

Founded and operated by Jason DeBord — former Chief Operating Officer of Julien's Auctions and longtime publisher of The Original Prop Blog and Rock Subculture Journal — the platform brings substantive scholarship and conservative attribution to a category most auction houses have underserved.

Buyers and consignors deal directly with Jason throughout the process — not a department, not a rotating specialist, not an intern. Every lot is researched and cataloged personally, photo-matched where possible, and documented with extensive photography, screencaps, letters from the artists, and official COAs where available.

The inaugural focus is music memorabilia from the artists who shaped Gen X, Millennial, and contemporary culture — stage-played instruments, owned and used gear, recording session equipment, music video and stage wardrobe, and signed artifacts. Future auctions will draw from the broader universe of pop culture.

Auctions are intentionally small, thematic, and infrequent.
