This fine art collection includes mostly 20th century and contemporary Canadian work in a variety of media, including a number of rare, predominantly French language artist produced limited edition books, livres d'artiste.
Acquired over a period of more than 50 years, this curated collection offers work by Quebec artists such as Leon Bellefleur, Roland Giguere, Gerard Tremblay, and Jean-Pierre Beaudin and well known Canadian artists such as Francine Gravel, Andre Bieler, William (Bill) Laing, Yuriko Igarashi Kitamura and more. Also available are a few pieces by Indigenous artists, particularly a limited edition print by Daphne Odjig. The body of this collection reflects the influence of surrealism, abstract expressionism and figurative movements.
The collection also contains smaller three dimensional works in clay, wood and soapstone featuring artists Charles Hilton, Noburo Kubo and others.
All work under glass has been professionally framed with conservation materials.
