Winchester model 1892 special order saddle ring carbine, .44-40 caliber, button mag, carbine butt and saddle ring. 3-leaf folding rear sight. Barrel shows desirable marking over barrel address "The Stinger" with portrait of a wasp. The metalsurfaces show a light cleaning to grey. Good edges, good markings. Some minor erosion and pinprick pitting just starting. The stocks are fair to good with some wear, small losses at the edges, and six notches cut to the top of the comb. The action is good, the bore is bright and has seen a great deal of shooting and rifle is shot to shallow. The Stinger marking was put on for Perry Brothers of Brisbane, Australia who imported a number of Winchester 92's.Est: $1,000 - $2,000
