Manufactured in 1913, and chambered for the rare and very desirable .405 Winchester cartridge. Lyman ivory bead front sight and adjustable flat top semi-buckhorn rear sight, with the caliber and nickel steel markings on the barrel, along with the Winchester Proof on the breech and receiver. The receiver is also marked with the two line address and patent markings on the left side and three line "MODEL 95/-WINCHESTER- /TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT OFF & FGN." marking on the upper tang, and equipped with a Lyman peep sight. Checkered straight grip stock with ebony insert Schnabel tip forearm and a Winchester marked solid recoil pad with a black spacer.

Condition: Very fine, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing a brown patina on the receiver and magazine, bright edge wear and mild handling marks. Stock is fine, with the recoil pad slightly off-center and some mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
