Winchester Model 1894 Takedown Lever Action Rifle
Manufactured in 1901, this takedown variation of the Model 1894 lever action rifle features a blade front sight (bead missing), a smokeless Model 94 rear sight and a full length magazine tube. The top barrel flat is marked with the two line address/patent date and "32 W.S." near the breech, with the two line nickel steel/smokeless powder marking on the upper left flat. The upper tang has the three line model/trademark information and "PAT. JUNE 6, 1893" is stamped on the magazine lever. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with metal forend cap and crescent buttplate.

Condition: Good. The barrel and magazine retain 70% faded original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina with some light spotting. The receiver retains traces of blue in the protected areas with the balance a smooth gray patina with some minor pitting. There is a hairline crack on the forearm (left side), otherwise the lightly refinished undersized wood is good with some scattered minor handling marks. Action needs some work.
