Manufactured in 1894. Blade front and adjustable buckhorn rear sights, with the two-line address/King's Improvement patent dates ahead of the rear sight and the caliber marking at the breech and on the elevator, serial number on the lower tang and "MODEL 1873/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK" on the upper tang. Smooth straight grip stock, with "10" stamped into the left side the buttstock, a steel forearm cap and a 4-piece cleaning rod in the butt trap.

Condition: Fine, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, scattered pitting, mild spotting and handling marks. Numerous scratches are visible on the receiver. The stock is fine, with dark spots and dents. Mechanically excellent.
