Winchester Model 1866 Henry marked lever action rifle, .44 rimfire cal., in very good+ original condition, retaining its period leather sling with brass buckle, serial #21001. The barrel and magazine tube show50-70% original blue going to patina, with some light erosion, pinprick pitting, normal toning and aging just starting. The barrel address is crisp, the edges fairly sharp. The correct rear sight is retained, with itsmatching front sight, both in proper dovetails. The frame shows an uncleaned natural patina and the loading gate shows 80%+ original bright blue. The hammer and lever show traces of case hardening withintheir light brown patina. The stocks are very good+ with just a couple of minor dings, mars and scratches, excellent wood to metal fit. An original to-the-period leather strap showing square brass buckle is included andalso the swivels are the original early type. There is a cleaning rod in the butt stock; the action is good, bore is good. The butt stock and butt plate are matching. An honest and early 1866 with desirable Henry marking

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
