In part: “I received a very nice Chirstmas present from K.K. Kelly—I know she has married a Kleburg—but I do not know which one…I have…tried the American Consul but I could not find out, so you are my girl…everything too dreadful and sad—each day bad news—Some say that the buyers are here in force in spite of L.B.J.” In fine condition, with show-through from writing on opposite sides of pages. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope addressed in Wallis’s hand.
