1) Winter combat tanker jacket with a 2nd Armored patch and the inside is hand marked "S.G.M. / 32033715". First pattern with patch pockets featuring horizontal openings. During WWII the 2nd Armored Division took 94,151 prisoners of war, liberated 22,538 Allied prisoners of war, shot down or damaged on the ground 266 enemy aircraft, and destroyed or captured uncountable thousands of enemy tanks and other equipment and supplies. The division was recognized for distinguished service and bravery with 9,369 individual awards, including two medals of honor, twenty-three distinguished service crosses, 2,302 silver stars and nearly 6,000 purple hearts. The division was also twice cited by the Belgian Government and for the next 50 years division soldiers wore the fourragere of the Belgian Croix de Guerre. 2) Winter combat trousers or "tanker overalls" with size label stapled to the inside of the back ("TROUSERS / MEDIUM / 34-37") and three other size label stapled to the outside of the trousers. First pattern with suspenders stitched to the overalls on both front and back. 3) Winter combat trousers or "tanker overalls" with the inside hand marked "PAGE". Second pattern with attachment hardware in the front, suspender adjustment clips, and a groin zipper for relief. 4) Cloth winter combat helmet, size small 6 1/2-6 7/8. Funk Bros. Hat & Cap Co. label dated March 2, 1942. Comes with a photocopy of the Quartermaster Corps specifications for the cloth winter combat helmet, dated February 10, 1941. The purpose of this cloth helmet was to give protection against the cold while being worn under the crash helmet.

Condition: Overall 1-4 are very fine. 1 has a few repairs to the collar, waist band and cuffs, along with a repaired tear on the back near the collar. 3 has a missing bib stud and a few mild stains.
