WWII British Issue Smith and Wesson Victory Model with Holster
This is a regulation issue pistol that was produced by Smith and Wesson for the Army and was given to British under the Lend Lease Act. The barrel is marked on the left side "SMITH & WESSON" and the right, "38 S&W CTG." The top has the standard two-line commercial address markings. The top strap is marked "U.S. PROPERTY G.H.D." The trigger and hammer are both case colored, the right side frame panel has the large "S&W" factory trademark and the grips are the smooth walnut military version. The right side of the front portion of the frame has British proofs with the left side having an importer marking. With a "RIA / MRT 6-54" marked "US" flap holster

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 85% thin original parkerized finish with some minor scratches and some light edge wear. The hammer and trigger retain 90% original case colors. The grips are fine with minor chip on the bottom edge and a minor gash on the right panel, along with some minor dings and scratches. The holster is very good with some minor handling marks. The stitching is tight.
