Vintage 1936-1939 American Flyer Train Set, locomotive measures 2.5''W x 9''L, includes 5 cars, track, American Flyer 1051H Transformer (cloth cord), and 2 books, the serial number on the locomotive is WO 6027, FYI: ''One of the most beloved of all model train brands, American Flyer's storied history begins in 1907, and stretches to today. Type XXI Steam Locomotive (Pennsylvania Locomotive) 1936 - 1939, In 1936 American Flyer introduced the Type XXI Steam Locomotive that was patterned after Pennsylvania streamlined locomotives. The locomotive has a sheet metal body and a die cast boiler front. The wheel arrangement is unusual in that it is an 0-4-2. The locomotive is generally known as a 629.The tender, which is also a new style for 1936 (Type XII) is a #1131.This is the only year that the engine and tender are black.''
