<td width="100%">
Beautiful delicate finely stitched needlework of floral and leaf in silk on silk fabric under glass. Rich gold,copper and silver grey tones on black background. The oval Victorian walnut framed tray stands on lare bun feet. The back attached with several screws. Made as the center decoration on the dining table in Victorian 19th century times for taxidery-to hold a large glass dome over small stuffed birds,pheasants or quail arrangement with branches and floral. The tray is in wonderful condition,one slightly darker spot on the edge appears as a burn. The needlework is totally intact and gorgeous workmanship with small area of black background silk on right bottom edge reverting to a dark gold. However,matches the shading of the needlework. Measures 23.5L X 12.5W X 1.75H.
