Talented American artist, Ava Freeman, has built a successful career on her wonderful watercolor paintings. She received her art degree from North Texas State University and opened her own small gallery in Dallas, Texas in 1976. The gallery was located in an artist?s mall which allowed tourists from across the nation to purchase her wonderful work. Her paintings have also been published and marketed by greeting card companies and art publishers including: Home Interiors and Gifts, Inc., Red Farm Studio, Megapress of Japan, and Daydream Publishers, further expanding her artistic influence. She currently resides in Texas with her husband and continues to paint in her home studio.
?Victorian Home? is a beautiful print of a Freeman original watercolor which spotlights the detailed architecture of the late 19th century. A large, three- story house stands proudly in the center of the composition. Every minute detail was articulated with great care, from the stained-glass window panes to the tiny shingle patterns on the second floor. The house is pale blue with white molding accents as well as pink accents on the windows, colors not uncommon in Victorian architecture. A white picket fence lines the front and back yard and a tiny tricycle is even present on the front lawn. The tall trees are dotted with leaves adding delicate depth to the space around the house.
