Very scarce James Reid’s “My Friend” Knuckle Duster oddity revolver in original period leather covered pipe fitted lined case, .32 cal., no barrel, all metal construction (iron cylinder and silver plated brass engravedframe) with finger hole in grip to act additionally as a brass knuckle, #15866. This gun is in overall very good condition showing approx. 90% original finish, crisp action, very good markings and good bores;cylinder release pin is original and numbered to this gun. The leather fitted case is in overall very good to excellent condition showing the majority of its original interior and brass locking mechanism. The mediumframe example of this model is hard-to-find in this condition and the casing is a real rarity with only approx 3 known. Est.: $5,250-$10,500.
