"Bristlen et Cie a Paris" is inlaid in gold on the top barrel flat and marked on the lock plate in an upward arch following the curve of the hammer. A deep relief scroll and oak leaf engraving is featured on the barrel at the breech and muzzle, hammer, lock, upper tang, breech block, ornate grip cap, and spur trigger guard. The nicely figured walnut stock has a deep relief floral craving on the forend and grip, with the grip also featuring deep flutes. Complete with a partitioned case lined in green felt and marked "BRISTLEN & Cie/PARIS" in gold on the inside of the lid. The following accessories are included: 3 wooden containers for percussion caps, rounds, and patches, nipple wrench, two cavity bullet mold, slotted screwdriver, ramrod, cleaning rod, ladle, horn powder funnel, and key. Except for the bullet mold, the tools have wooden handles. The pistol and accessories are in a fitted "tray" that is removable and once removed a wooden bullet block capable of holding 429 rounds is revealed.

Serial Number: NSN
Condition: Fine as period re-browned. The barrel retains most of the browning with an area of minor pitting near the muzzle. The remaining metal surfaces are very fine and have a smooth sliver gray patina. The stock is very fine with some minor dings and scratches (more prevalent on the left flat). The carving and engraving are crisp. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with a long crack present on the lid, a missing shield type plaque and minor handling marks with the lining showing some minor stains and wear.
