Unique Double Barrel Percussion Knife Pistol with Panel Scene Engraved Silver Grip Panels
Fitted with a pair of Damascus twist pattern barrels, with the Liege "E/ LG/ star" proof on the breeches, with a pair of strikers with serrated spurs. The main body of the knife is covered with a pair of engraved silver panels, showing scrollwork and checkerboard areas on both sides, fruit and floral design on the right side and a scene of a pheasant about to get jumped by a pointer in a field, with a house and fence in the background on the left panel. Fitted with a 3 7/8" spear point single edge knife blade, mounted between the folding triggers, with no makers marks. Most likely the work of Henri Boden, a mid-19th Century gunsmith from Belgium.

Very fine. The barrels show a strong twist pattern, with a lightly polished appearance on the side plates. Some minor pitting is visible on the triggers, and a brown patina is starting to form on the blade. Mechanically fine.
