U.S. Springfield trapdoor military rifle, .45-70 cal., 32-1/2” barrel, ramrod bayonet, wood stock, sling swivels, #522090. This gun is in overall good to very good condition showing a dark brown patina, fair bore, crisp action, strong markings with “D 16” stamped on the top of the butt plate below the “US” stamp; overall good wood with circle P proof and 1891 inspector’s cartouche on the left side of the wrist; some scattered nicks andmars from carry and storage. Est.: $350-$700.
