U.S. Springfield MC-1 Sniper Garand semi-auto rifle, .30 cal., 24” barrel with muzzle break, Parkerized military finish, wood stock, #3264372. This rifle is in overall very good condition, as arsenal rebuilt for USMC sniping, showing majority of its military finish on metal surfaces (possibly re-parkerized), very good bore, crisp action, sharp markings including “S-A-8-51” on the right side of the barrel; the wood is very good overall with several slight nicks and mars from carry and storage; checkered steel butt plate with compartment for cleaning kit; three sling swivels and a green web military sling; butt stock leather cheek piece is attached and marked “MRT 10-52”. The left side Griffin and Howe Parkerized mounts hold a scope by Kollmorgen Optical Corp 4X Double and marked “MC 461-P” on the top of the scope between the mounts; very good optics.
