The unmarked smooth bore barrel gauges at approximately .69 caliber and is without sights. The lock plate is marked with an eagle over "U. STATES" ahead of the hammer and there are no markings behind the hammer. The lock plate markings are the only visible markings on the pistol. The trigger guard, umbrella shaped buttcap, side plate and ramrod pipe are brass with the back strap being iron. Complete with an iron ramrod.

Condition: Good. The iron surfaces have a smooth dark patina with some minor pitting (mostly on the barrel). The brass has a mixed patina. The stock is poor with a few hairline cracks, some minor dings and scratches and a few minor gouges. The forearm has been crudely repaired near the tip (area is ill-fitting) and there is a long minor crack on the underside. The grip area is cracked. The hammer does not hold a full cock position.
