U. S. Model 1841 Naval cutlass, marked "N. P. Ames, Cabotville, Mass", with U.S.N. and 1842 on reverse. The sword shows original marking on guard of large numerals, either 66 or 99. The blade shows light to slightlyheavy pitting and erosion, some cleaning but good markings that are fully visible. The hilt is good with an uncleaned patina and no evidence of polishing. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
